Mitsubishi has redesigned the Galant for 2004; Mazda introduced its new 6 in 2003, while Honda unveiled an overhauled Accord; and the year before, Nissan came to market with an all-new Altima and Volkswagen updated its Passat. Each of these cars has particular advantages; the Altima, Mazda 6 and Galant are sportier and more fun to drive, and the Passat is more graceful and luxurious. As before, that puts the Accord as the closest in mission and design to the Camry.
